Anh Le Tran is a Professor of Economics and Management at Lasell University's School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Law, Policy, and Society with a focus on Law and Economics and Trade Policy from Northeastern University, along with an M.B.A. and a B.A. in Economics (summa cum laude) from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

Professor Tran specializes in economic development, international trade policy, and U.S.-Vietnam relations. His scholarly work spans multiple languages (English, French, Vietnamese) and includes publications in academic journals and major newspapers across the U.S., Vietnam, Asia, and Europe. He has been interviewed by international media outlets like The Voice of America.
As director of Lasell’s Vietnam Shoulder-to-Shoulder Program, he leads service-learning trips to Vietnam and teaches the ECON 207 Vietnam Immersion course. His teaching career includes positions at Fisher College and the University of Massachusetts at Boston. He emphasizes globalization, microeconomics, and social issues in economics in his courses.
