Education:
- Ph.D., University of Chicago, 2004
Research Interests: Angela’s work bridges geometric group theory and education, with a focus on CAT(0) spaces, commensurators, and fixed-point properties in groups. She also emphasizes improving undergraduate mathematics pedagogy through innovative teaching methods and curriculum design.
Teaching: She currently leads Calculus I sections and teaches Linear Algebra using inquiry-based learning (IBL). She coordinates introductory courses and mentors teaching assistants.
Awards/Grants: None explicitly listed in provided texts.
Labs/Teams: Member of the Introductory Program Coordination Team within the Mathematics Department.
