Angela Arzubiaga is an Associate Professor in Justice Studies and Social Inquiry at Arizona State University's School of Social Transformation. She holds a Ph.D. from UCLA. Her research focuses on justice issues related to immigrant children's education, sociocultural aspects of family life, and immigrant families' adaptations. Active since the early 2000s, she has led projects like the Spencer Foundation-funded study on immigrant children's preschool experiences (2005–2010). She teaches courses on justice theory, immigration education, and research methods. Her work bridges critical pedagogy, cultural theory, and policy analysis.
