Brittany 'Bri' Romanello is a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow of Movement, Migration, and Place-Making on the Anza Trail (2023-2025) at Arizona State University's School of Human Evolution and Social Change. She collaborates with the National Park Service and American Conservation Experience to explore themes of human movement and borderland community histories. Her research focuses on race, ethnicity, legal status, and religion among Latina Mormon immigrants, employing mixed ethnographic methods.
