Edward D. Vargas is an Associate Professor at the School of Transborder Studies, Arizona State University (ASU). His work bridges public health, social policy, and Latino studies, with a focus on how poverty, inequality, and anti-immigrant climates impact vulnerable families, particularly Latina/o communities. He also specializes in methodological challenges in studying race and ethnicity quantitatively.
