Professor Andy Dainty serves as Vice-Provost and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Education at Manchester Metropolitan University, where he leads education strategy encompassing teaching, learning, assessment, and student experience. He previously held leadership positions at Loughborough University including Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor for the Doctoral College and Dean of the School of the Built Environment.
His research examines sociologies of project-based organizations, investigating social dynamics in project teams through interdisciplinary collaborations spanning engineering, social sciences, and business. His international research network includes visiting professorships in six countries.
