Amanda Coffey

Professor Amanda Coffey currently serves as Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), overseeing academic strategy, program quality, research ambitions, and inclusivity initiatives. Prior to joining UWE Bristol in 2020, she held senior leadership roles at Cardiff University for over 30 years, including Pro Vice-Chancellor for Student Experience and Academic Standards, Dean for Education and Students in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Head of the School of Social Sciences. Her sociological expertise spans education, youth studies, adoption, and qualitative methodologies.
