Dr. Andy Baxter is a Research Fellow at the MRC/CSO Social & Public Health Sciences Unit, University of Glasgow. He holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow, focusing on teenage pregnancy policy evaluation. His current work involves analyzing welfare policy impacts, particularly Universal Credit, using microsimulation models and the Annual Population Survey. He specializes in public health policy evaluation, complex interventions, and sexual health research. Baxter teaches R programming and Shiny app development through his training site www.rtraining.co.uk, and contributes to the MRC’s framework on complex health interventions.
