معرفی
Dr. Andriy Kozlov is a Professor in Sensory Neuroscience at the Department of Bioengineering, Faculty of Engineering, Imperial College London. He leads the Kozlov Lab, which investigates auditory system mechanisms, including inner ear biophysics and auditory cortex processing. His affiliations include the Centre for Blast Injury Studies, Centre for Neurotechnology, Natural and Machine Hearing, and Physics of Life. Dr. Kozlov holds a PhD in ion channel biophysics from Université Louis Pasteur de Strasbourg and has conducted postdoctoral research at ESPCI Paris, Rockefeller University, and the University of California, San Diego. His research combines optical, mechanical, electrophysiological, and computational methods to explore auditory neuroscience and biophysics.
Education:
- PhD in Ion Channel Biophysics, Université Louis Pasteur de Strasbourg
Research focuses on how the auditory system achieves sensitivity and selectivity, with emphasis on mechanoelectrical transduction in the inner ear and cortical signal interpretation. The lab develops novel tools for auditory neuroscience studies. The lab is located at RSM 3.12, Royal School of Mines, South Kensington Campus.
Labs/Teams:
- Founder and Director of the Laboratory of Auditory Neuroscience and Biophysics
