Radha Kalluri

Dr. Radha Kalluri is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern California, affiliated with the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and Biomedical Engineering. She leads the Physiology of the Inner Ear Laboratory (PIELab), focusing on understanding sensory transduction mechanisms in the inner ear, particularly in the auditory and vestibular systems. Her work integrates electrophysiology, biophysical modeling, and quantitative analysis to study how disease and injury affect inner ear function.

Her research spans cellular and systems-level investigations, including studies on hair cell regeneration, neuronal development, and ion channel dynamics. Key contributions include advancements in lineage reprogramming for inner ear cell regeneration and insights into vestibular and auditory neuron biophysics.
