Andrey Zarur is a Senior Lecturer at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from MIT and undergraduate degrees from the National University of Mexico. His career spans biotechnology entrepreneurship, venture capital, and strategic management.

Research focuses on biotechnology innovation, entrepreneurship in life sciences, and RNA applications. He has authored over 100 patents and peer-reviewed articles, and contributed to over a dozen startups in healthcare and clean energy sectors.
Awards include membership in the World Economic Forum Global Council on Biotechnology and recognition as a Young Global Leader by the WEF.
