Andrew Stewardson is an Associate Professor in the School of Translational Medicine at Monash University, with a dual role as an Infectious Diseases Physician at Alfred Health. He holds an NHMRC Early Career Fellowship and focuses on antimicrobial resistance, healthcare-associated infections, and infection control. His research bridges clinical practice and policy, with contributions to global health initiatives like WHO Patient Safety programs.
