Dr. Andrew Sanger is an Associate Professor of International Law at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Law and a Fellow of the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law. He also serves as Dean of College and Director of Studies in Law at Corpus Christi College. His academic credentials include an MA and PhD from the University of Cambridge and an LLM from the London School of Economics.
Research Interests: Dr. Sanger specializes in international law and global governance, with current focus areas including:
- Regulation of global private actors and transnational corporations
- Interactions between international law and other normative systems
- Impact of digital technologies on democracy and governance
- Law of immunity and state responsibility
- Human vulnerability and inequality in legal frameworks
- International law concerning genocide and use of force

Professional Activities: Dr. Sanger advises states and NGOs on international law, represents clients before the International Court of Justice, and serves as Senior Fellow at Melbourne Law School. He is a Note Editor for the Cambridge Law Journal and collaborates on the Laureate Program in Global Corporations and International Law.
