Andreas Dohmen is a Professor of Composition at the Würzburg University of Music and Performing Arts since 2013. His career includes studies at Folkwang University of the Arts with Rolf Heister (double bass) and Dieter Torkewitz (composition), followed by masterclasses with Franco Donatoni at Accademia Musicale Chigiana (Siena) and DAAD-funded composition studies in Milan/Biella.
