Andrea Coles-Bjerre is an Associate Professor and Faculty Director of the Business Law Program at the University of Oregon School of Law. She specializes in bankruptcy law, particularly Chapter 11 corporate reorganizations, integrating cognitive linguistics to critique legal frameworks and judicial decision-making processes. Her professional affiliations include leadership roles in the ABA’s Business Bankruptcy Committee and the AALS Section on Law and Interpretation. She holds a BA in English Literature from Barnard College and a JD from Brooklyn Law School.
