Amy Sinden is the I. Herman Stern Professor at Temple University Beasley School of Law, specializing in environmental law, property law, and public interest advocacy. She holds affiliations with Temple’s Center for Sustainable Communities and is a Fellow of the American College of Environmental Lawyers. Her research critiques the misuse of cost-benefit analysis in environmental policy and explores the intersection of human rights and environmental conflicts. Sinden previously served as senior counsel at Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future and litigated environmental cases with Earthjustice Legal Defense Fund. She earned her J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a B.A. from Swarthmore College.
