Robert J. Bartow serves as the Laura H. Carnell Professor of Law and Senior Advisor to the Dean at Temple University's Beasley School of Law, where he has been a faculty member since 1973. Previously, he held the roles of Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (1989-1999, 2004-2017) and Acting Dean during spring 1997.

Bartow's research centers on Property Taxation, Trusts and Estates, Transactional Law, and Professional Responsibility, with notable contributions to legal education through Temple's Integrated Transactional Program.
