Amy Scarlett Morvell is an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Contemporary Dance at the University of Chichester Conservatoire. As Artistic Director of Morvell Dance (produced by Lîla Dance), she has secured Arts Council funding for works like Turtle Dove, which toured nationally and internationally. Her practice focuses on community-driven storytelling through dance, blending outdoor performances and film, such as Nice to Meet You and The Lockdown Moving Images Series.
Her artistic research emphasizes gathering biographical narratives to reflect shared human experiences. She collaborates with companies like Lîla Dance, Wessex Company, and Katie Dale Everett Dance, contributing to projects such as The Hotel Experience and Empa.
