Amy C. Groth is a Professor in the Department of Biology at Eastern Connecticut State University. Her research focuses on gene regulation pathways in cancer and development, utilizing the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans). She also contributes to biotechnology education and undergraduate cancer biology training.

She has pioneered methods for transgenic Drosophila construction and retroviral vector optimization to reduce genotoxicity risks.
