Amonette Campbell is a South African PhD candidate and lecturer at Tilburg University, affiliated with the Department of Organization Studies within the Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Her PhD research, conducted in collaboration with multiple departments, focuses on online work platforms and their impact on working conditions and employee well-being in Africa. She teaches Organizational Behavior and Organizational Development, and supervises bachelor’s theses. Campbell holds a bachelor’s degree from Stellenbosch University and a Master’s in Social and Psychological Research from the University of the Witwatersrand. Her academic supervisors include Dr. Francesca Ciulli, Dr. Brigitte Kroon, and Dr. Ivana Vranjes.
Her research interests span organizational behavior, workplace well-being, and the structural and individual factors influencing labor dynamics in digital platforms. She integrates insights from organizational sciences, human resource studies, and social psychology to address contemporary challenges in African work environments.
