Amit Khanna

Dr. Amit Khanna serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Yale School of Medicine and Director of Colon and Rectal Surgery for the Bridgeport region. He specializes in minimally invasive colorectal surgery, focusing on inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal malignancies, and anorectal disorders. Dr. Khanna completed his MD at Mount Sinai/NYU School of Medicine and is board-certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery and General Surgery.

His clinical practice emphasizes patient-centered care, prioritizing personalized surgical approaches (robotic, laparoscopic, or open) based on individual needs. He leads colorectal surgical services across the Bridgeport region in collaboration with Smilow Cancer Hospital and Digestive Health teams.
