Amir Goldkorn

Amir Goldkorn is Professor of Medicine and Cancer Biology at USC's Keck School of Medicine, holding the Kathryn M. Balakrishnan Endowed Chair. As Associate Director of Translational Sciences at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, he founded and directs the Liquid Biopsy Core facility.

Research focuses on liquid biopsy development for prostate/bladder cancer and cancer cell plasticity mechanisms. Clinical expertise includes genitourinary malignancies with leadership in NCI-SWOG trials.

Education: Harvard University (B.A.), UCLA (M.D.), residency at UCLA, and fellowship at UCSF including postdoctoral training in Nobel laureate Elizabeth Blackburn's laboratory.

Awards recognize contributions to medical research and clinical oncology including AFMR Outstanding Investigator Award.
