Jacek K Pinski

Jacek K Pinski is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. He serves as Co-Director of the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center's Prostate Cancer Research Center and contributes to the Rehabilitation Research and Development Section of the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. His research focuses on translational approaches to prostate cancer treatment, particularly mechanisms of therapy resistance and novel therapeutic targets.

Dr. Pinski's work spans hormone signaling pathways, biomarker discovery, and clinical trial design. He has led seven funded research studies examining castration-resistant prostate cancer, neuroendocrine differentiation, and circulating tumor biomarkers. His publications demonstrate consistent focus on targeted therapies and predictive biomarker validation across urologic cancers.

Research trends show concentration in four key areas: 1) Liquid biopsy applications for cancer monitoring 2) Hormone pathway modulation 3) Combination therapy strategies 4) Neuroendocrine transdifferentiation mechanisms.
