Amber Warners is a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Calvin University and a highly successful collegiate volleyball and softball coach. She holds a Ph.D. in Kinesiology from Michigan State University and has dedicated her career to advancing athletic performance and education.

Her research interests focus on the intersection of kinesiology, sports psychology, and coaching methodologies, informed by her dual expertise as both a scholar and a coach. Warners has led Calvin University to multiple NCAA III championships and tournament appearances, cementing her legacy in collegiate athletics.
Notable accolades include being named the 2010 AVCA Division III National Coach of the Year and three-time Great Lakes Regional Coach of the Year (2006, 2008, 2011). She also received the Kay Tiemersma Award as a Calvin student for athletic and academic excellence.
Warners has a distinguished coaching career spanning over a decade at Calvin, with a winning percentage of .838, seven NCAA III Tournament berths, and national championships in volleyball (2010, 2013). She previously coached at Hope College and Holland Christian High School.
