Amber Norman is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Agnes Scott College. She holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida, and a BA in Psychology from Florida A&M University.

Her research and teaching focus on critical pedagogy, sexuality education, and the intersection of health equity for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and queer communities. Recent work includes contributions to understanding integrated care for ethnic and sexual minorities living with HIV.
Dr. Norman is recognized as a National Board of Certified Counselors Minority Fellow and actively advocates for social justice, student mentorship, and counselor development.
