Amani Zaier is an Associate Professor of Practice in Educational Psychology & Leadership at Texas Tech University's College of Education. She teaches courses on cognition, instruction, and educational research. Dr. Zaier holds a doctorate in Educational Psychology and M.A. in Applied Linguistics from Texas Tech University.
Her research focuses on culturally responsive teaching, teacher self-efficacy beliefs, and addressing psycholinguistic needs of culturally/linguistically diverse students. She enjoys training educators and working with diverse learners.
