Professor Amanda Salis is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Australia's School of Human Sciences. She leads a research team focusing on body weight and composition, with expertise in obesity, appetite control, and energy expenditure. Her work spans translational research across transgenic mice, clinical trials in adults with overweight/obesity, and athlete studies. She holds a NHMRC Senior Research Fellowship and has authored internationally recognized books on weight management.
