Professor Amanda Daley is a Research Professor of Behavioural Medicine and NIHR Research Professor in Public Health, leading the Centre for Lifestyle Medicine and Behaviour (CLiMB). Her work focuses on lifestyle interventions to improve health outcomes, particularly in NHS settings. She directs trials evaluating physical activity and weight management programs, including the Snacktivity initiative and PACE food labelling studies. Her research emphasizes randomized controlled trials (RCTs), systematic reviews, and data analysis to address public health challenges. Key areas include obesity prevention, physical activity promotion, and integrating health screening into dental services. She leads major grants totaling over £4 million, including NIHR Programme Grants and a Research Professorship. Current projects explore PACE labelling efficacy and community-based interventions to reduce chronic disease risk.
