Henrietta Graham is a Vice-Chancellor Independent Research Fellow at Loughborough University, with a focus on weight management and behavioral interventions. Her professional journey includes roles as a Research Associate at CLiMB (Centre for Lifestyle Medicine and Behavioural Medicine) and a PhD researcher studying the 'small change approach' for weight management.
Dr. Graham holds a BSc in Psychology from Queen’s University Belfast (2018), an MSc in Health Psychology from King’s College London (2019), and a PhD from Loughborough University (2020–2023). She is a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).
Her research interests center on designing and evaluating behavioral interventions for weight management, physical activity promotion, and healthcare delivery optimization. Key areas include small change interventions, systematic reviews of clinical trials, and interdisciplinary approaches to public health challenges such as obesity and health inequalities.
Her work spans dental health settings, primary care, and preoperative patient care, with a focus on intervention feasibility, provider-patient collaboration, and reducing health disparities. She has published extensively on intervention effectiveness, including studies on spinal cord injury populations and dental team roles in weight management.
