Alyson Roux

Alyson Roux is an Adjunct Professor in the Nutrition department at Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). With a Master of Science in Nutrition & Integrative Health and a Master of Fine Arts in Directing, she combines clinical expertise with arts-focused health education. Her work emphasizes behavioral nutrition, particularly in chronic dieting, eating disorder recovery, and co-occurring health conditions.

Professional roles include co-founding Nutrition Hive (a functional nutrition practice) and Clinician's Incubator (a professional development platform for nutritionists). She holds licenses as a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN), and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor.

Roux has presented at industry events such as the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals Symposium (2018) and the American Nutrition Association Summit (2022). She also serves on the Credentials Council for the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists®.

Her clinical experience includes 10 years in outpatient nutrition care and supervision, with a focus on artists' health through collaborations with organizations like SAG-AFTRA and the Producers Guild of America.
