Allison Cole is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. Her research focuses on household finance, corporate finance, and labor economics with an emphasis on retirement savings, workforce aging, and consumer financial behavior. She holds a PhD in Financial Economics from MIT Sloan School of Management and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Bureau of Economic Research in the Economics of an Aging Workforce group.
Education: PhD in Financial Economics (MIT Sloan, 2025), postdoctoral fellowship (NBER). Prior experience includes research roles at the Boston Federal Reserve and consulting at PwC. She teaches Advanced Managerial Finance (FIN 361) and has published widely on topics including retirement benefits valuation, small business financial resilience during crises, and household consumption dynamics.
