Christopher J. Palmer is an Associate Professor of Finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management, specializing in financial decision-making, credit markets, and policy interventions. His research focuses on how individuals and institutions respond to economic upheavals in areas like bankruptcy, retirement savings, and real estate. He holds a PhD in Economics from MIT and a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Brigham Young University.
