Aliza Hunt is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Mental Health Research within the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health at the Australian National University (ANU), Australia. She holds a BA (Hons Psy) and DML from the University of Melbourne and focuses on cross-disciplinary research in mental health, Indonesia, and aging populations.

Research Interests: Aliza’s work addresses mental health needs in rural Indonesia, particularly among older adults, using both quantitative and qualitative methods. She critically evaluates diagnostic frameworks (ICD, DSM, PPDGJ) and advocates for anti-pasung reforms and community-based mental healthcare in Indonesia.
