Dr. Tiara Marthias is a Lecturer in Global Health at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne. She holds an adjunct role at the Nossal Institute for Global Health. Her research focuses on maternal and child health, health equity, health financing, and health systems strengthening in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). She previously served as an Assistant Professor at Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, and has contributed to national strategies on adolescent wellbeing and maternal health financing policies.

**Research Interests:** Dr. Marthias investigates geographical and socioeconomic inequities in healthcare access, evidence-based budgeting for health services, and pandemic response systems. She has led projects in Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Myanmar, and the Philippines, collaborating with WHO, UNICEF, and the World Bank.
**Key Contributions:** Her work includes analyzing health financing policies during the COVID-19 pandemic, evaluating maternal health service utilization in sub-Saharan Africa, and developing frameworks for non-communicable disease (NCD) management in primary healthcare. She serves on the Board of Directors of the International Health Economics Association (iHEA) and was an Equity Initiative Fellow (2018).
**Grants & Advising:** She has secured funding from USAID, DFAT, and the WHO. Her advisory roles include technical support for government health programs in Indonesia and global health policy frameworks.
