Alina Tryfonidou is a Professor of Law at the University of Reading, specializing in EU law (particularly free movement law) and the protection of LGBT+ rights. She holds a PhD from King's College London and has held academic roles since 2007, including positions at the University of Leicester and King's College. Her research focuses on EU legal frameworks governing minority rights, cross-border mobility, and judicial precedents. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and the Centre of European Law at King's College.
