Alina Carrozzini is a Lecturer in EU Law at the Department of Transnational Legal Studies, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She holds an LLB from The Hague University (2019), an LLM in EU Law from College of Europe (2020), and is a PhD candidate at King's College London (since 2020), researching EU administrative law and CFSP legal frameworks under Prof. Takis Tridimas and Dr. Oana Stefan. Prior to VU Amsterdam, she lectured at King's College London and is affiliated with the ELI Project on Fundamental Constitutional Principles.
Education:

Research Interests: Her work focuses on EU administrative law, EU external relations law, and the legal procedures of the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP). She applies administrative law principles to analyze CFSP legal frameworks, with particular attention to judicial decisions, democratic governance, and international compliance.
Teaching: She teaches EU and international law courses at both LLB and LLM levels, including 'Current Issues in Public Law' and 'Competition Law.' She also supervises student theses.
Media Engagement: Carrozzini has commented on legal and political crises, such as Romania's constitutional turmoil and U.S. presidential inaugurations, emphasizing democratic processes and legal frameworks.
