Professor Eoin Carolan is a Full Professor at the School of Law, University College Dublin (UCD), and Director of the UCD Centre for Constitutional Studies. He holds a PhD from UCD and advanced degrees from Trinity College Dublin (LLB, Scholar) and the University of Cambridge (LLM). His research focuses on constitutional law, administrative law, democratic governance, comparative law, and freedom of expression/privacy rights.
