- Education:
- PhD: Social Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry (King’s College London, 2019–2022)
- MSc: Genes, Environment and Development (Distinction, King’s College London, 2018–2019)
- BSc: Psychology (First Class, University of Bath, 2014–2018)
Research Interests: Alicia investigates genetic and environmental factors underlying self-reported life events, trauma impacts on mental health, and network analysis of psychiatric symptom interactions. She employs twin studies, molecular genetics, and polygenic scores to explore these mechanisms. Her work aims to improve personalized interventions for psychological therapies and understand trauma’s role in psychiatric outcomes.
Publications: Her recent work includes studies on anxiety sensitivity, childhood maltreatment heritability, and symptom networks in bipolar disorder. These highlight her focus on genetic influences and clinical applications.
