Ali Bidram is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Mexico (UNM), Albuquerque, NM. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Arlington (2014), an MS and BS from Isfahan University of Technology (2010 and 2008). His research focuses on control and protection of power systems, particularly in power electronics-intensive grids, smart grids, and renewable energy integration. He has received prestigious awards including the NSF CAREER Award and multiple teaching excellence recognitions.
