Alan Reid is a Professor in the Faculty of Education at Monash University, specializing in environmental and sustainability education. He holds roles as Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Education Research and Associate Editor of Journal of Curriculum Studies. His work focuses on educators' practices, theoretical frameworks, and policy implications in addressing climate change and UN Sustainable Development Goals (e.g., Mission 4.7). Reid is affiliated with the Monash Sustainable Development Institute and the Monash Climate Change Communication Research Hub, leading the Education, Environment, and Sustainability Research Group.
