Tony Capon is the world's first Professor of Planetary Health and directs the Monash Sustainable Development Institute at Monash University. He holds a chair in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. With over 30 years of leadership in public health, his work spans urban sustainability, climate change adaptation, and environmental health policy.
**Education & Career**: Capon has held roles including Director of the International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH), inaugural Medical Officer of Health in Western Sydney, and leadership positions with the Menzies Centre for Health Policy.
