Ajay K Gupta

Dr Ajay K Gupta is a Senior Clinical Lecturer and Hon. Consultant in Clinical Pharmacology and Cardiovascular & Internal Medicine at Queen Mary University of London, affiliated with The William Harvey Research Institute (Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry). His roles include clinical practice at Barts BP Centre of Excellence and academic research.

Education: MBBS (Delhi University), MSc in Epidemiology (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine), PhD (Imperial College London).

Research focuses on cardiovascular/metabolic medicine, hypertension, statin therapy, diabetes, and ethnic disparities in treatment outcomes. He leads the ASCOT Legacy cohort study and LATER Dementia project, analyzing long-term cardiovascular risks and cognitive impacts. Utilizes large databases for meta-analyses and clinical trial evaluations.
