Professor Aislinn O'Donnell holds a position in the Department of Education at Maynooth University, affiliated with the Centre for Public Education and Pedagogy. She is a scholar with expertise in philosophy of education, pedagogical innovation, and the intersection of education with sociopolitical dynamics. Her research explores aesthetics, materiality, and affect in educational contexts, emphasizing ecological and interdisciplinary approaches. O'Donnell has led significant projects such as EDURAD (Educational Responses to Extremism) and The Enquiring Classroom, focusing on inclusive pedagogies and counter-terrorism education. She is actively involved in prison education initiatives, art-philosophy collaborations, and community philosophy programs.
- Education: PhD in Philosophy from University of Warwick, Master's from University College Dublin, BA from Trinity College Dublin, and ERASMUS studies in Strasbourg.
