Liam Herrick is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Law at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Maynooth University. He is currently the Executive Director of the Irish Council for Civil Liberties and previously served as Executive Director of the Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT) from 2007 to 2014, where he established IPRT as a leading authority on penal matters in Ireland. His work focuses on human rights, penal policy, and social justice.
