Aet Annist is an Associate Professor of Ethnology (0.50 FTE) at the University of Tartu's Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Institute of Cultural Research (2024–2026), concurrently holding a Senior Researcher position (0.50 FTE) at Tallinn University's School of Humanities (2019–2024). She previously held academic roles at the University of Bristol and Tallinn University, with expertise spanning environmental anthropology and post-socialist transitions.
