Adrienne Allen is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University, serving as Director of Connecticut Mental Health Center's Young Adult Services program and Co-Director of the West Haven Mental Health Clinic. She earned her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Hartford (2015) and completed postdoctoral training at the Institute of Living's Schizophrenia Rehabilitation Program. Her clinical and research focus centers on trauma-sensitive interventions for individuals with schizophrenia spectrum disorders and severe mental illnesses, particularly in residential and transitional housing settings. She actively supervises predoctoral and postdoctoral psychology fellows and trains clinical staff in trauma-informed care practices.
