Adriana Samper is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University since 2011. She holds a B.A. in Biological Bases of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania (2002) and a Ph.D. in Marketing from Duke University (2011). Her research focuses on consumer behavior, particularly exploring lay theories, stereotyping, and post-consumption outcomes in aesthetics, effort, health, and disability contexts. She has authored influential studies in journals like Journal of Consumer Research and Psychological Science.
Research Interests: Consumer Behavior, Lay Theories, Aesthetics, Effort Attribution, Physical Disability Discrimination, Health Motivation, Digital Consumption.
