Adam Moore is a Professor in the Department of Geography at UCLA's College of Social Sciences, with a PhD from the University of Wisconsin, Madison (2010). His research examines geopolitical dynamics of conflict and peacebuilding, with expertise in military labor, ethnic conflicts, and post-war reconstruction.
Research interests focus on political violence, ethnic conflict dynamics, military contracting, and peacebuilding processes, particularly in Southeast European contexts. His investigations explore how militarization shapes foreign policy and spatial organization.
Publications demonstrate sustained focus on conflict geography, military logistics, and peace studies, with recent work examining spatial dimensions of peacebuilding and decolonial geopolitics. Earlier scholarship analyzed military outsourcing and ethnic territoriality.
