Adam George is a Lecturer in Conservation and Environment at Bath Spa University’s School of Sciences. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Animal Management from Bournemouth University, an MSc in Animal Behaviour from the University of Exeter, and a PhD in Ecology and Environment from Oxford Brookes University. His research focuses on saltmarsh ecosystem restoration, ecological succession, and coastal wetland biodiversity conservation.
Teaching specialisms include Environmental Practice, Environmental Management, Marine Biology and Conservation, and Ecology. He leads modules in these areas and supervises dissertations. Adam is recognized for his mentorship of students, emphasizing fieldwork and practical environmental management insights.
