Miriam Thavarajah is a Lecturer in Wildlife Conservation and Ecology at Bath Spa University’s School of Sciences. She holds a PhD in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Manchester and prior degrees from the University of Cologne (BSc in Biology) and the University of Potsdam (MSc in Ecology, Evolutionary Biology, and Conservation). Her research focuses on the intersection of animal behaviour and physiology, human-animal interactions, and climate change impacts on species conservation. Miriam has taught at University Centre Reaseheath and managed a wildlife rehabilitation centre in Germany before joining Bath Spa in 2021.
